Compatibility with AutoCAD - File format

Since IntelliCAD uses tools from the 'OpenDWG' foundation, IntelliCAD can write (save) in AutoCAD® format. The native file format in IntelliCAD is the AutoCAD dwg format although you can also save files in DXF format. This makes IntelliCAD an ideal, low-cost tool, for those who have a need to create, edit, (and exchange) AutoCAD® drawings.
