Please test CMS IntelliCAD Pro thoroughly on your store of CAD drawings (the files end in .DWG), or use some of ours from the downloads page on this site before ordering. When you are satisfied with the perfomance of the software and its suitability for your needs, contact us (at info@icad.net.au) or send a purchase order (with delivery address details) to info@icad.net.au. A registration card with user and licence details (and invoice) will be sent by post (or email if you prefer).

Licence conditions

Under normal conditions, we provide a single user license (one computer only) which can be reactivated 2 times per year maximum. To allow the 3rd and following reactivations in the same year, it's necessary to have purchased a support pack (see Products page).

If you want to install IntelliCAD on your notebook and also on your office computer, we can supply an IntelliCAD Pro dual licence. Multiple user (5) licence packs are also available. Please contact us for details on pricing.

Here are some important things to consider if you wish to purchase a copy of CMS IntelliCAD Pro from us:

  • Single copies of CMS IntelliCAD Pro cost $AUD425.00. This includes GST and delivery charges. We offer discounts for multiple copies - call 0418 414 932 for details.   • CMS IntelliCAD Pro is positioned as a low cost alternative to AutoCAD ($AUD425.00 vs. $AUD6,500.00). We do not guarrantee that it is completely compatible in every way. For example, both programs run the AutoLISP programming language but there are subtle differences in the implementation of the AutoLISP language between IntelliCAD and AutoCAD. We suspect that there are also subltle differences in the implementation of VBA in IntelliCAD vs. AutoCAD.
  • Our version of IntelliCAD is what most IntelliCAD vendors call IntelliCAD Professional and contains rendering tools, solids modelling and editing. The terms standard and professional have unfortunate connotations. Both versions are suitable for 2-D production drafting and are suitable for the vast bulk of CAD drafting commonly carried out in Australia and New Zealand. We do not sell the standard version of IntelliCAD as in our opinion, the inclusion of VBA capability in our IntelliCAD Pro version is an important addition to you CAD capability.
  • CMS IntelliCAD Pro does not run under Windows 98 or earlier Windows operating systems. It is however, compatible with Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. It does not run in native mode on an Apple Macintosh, although you can run IntelliCAD (very well) on Macs with Intel chips if you boot into a Windows XP environment.
  • We have not tested whether Windows x64 operating systems are properly supported. Our IntelliCAD Pro does run under one 64 bit Windows operating system in our office, but you should test the 15 day trial IntelliCAD CMS Pro thoroughly in your own 64 bit operating system environment before ordering.
  • Please note that we offer free support for installation and registration of CMS IntelliCAD Pro. The support pages on this site also offer comprehensive support.
  • If you need more comprehensive support beyond that supplied in the white papers here, please order a Design Cad one year support pack ($AUD150.00). We are happy to resaerch and offer advice on implementing and configuring IntelliCAD to align with your business practice and aims.

Operating systems

IntelliCAD is Windows software and runs under Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 - 32 bit versions of the software only. We have limited experience with 64 bit operating systems. Please use the CMS 15 day trial thoroughly test in your own 64 bit environment before ordering a copy of CMS IntelliCAD Pro.
